Sabrina Carpenter gets her first Billboard Hot 100 entry with "Skin"

After 4 Studio Albums and 20 singles as a lead artist, Sabrina Carpenter finally scores her first Billboard Hot 100 entry. 

On January 22, 2021, Island Records released "Skin"--the lead single from Sabrina's 5th studio album. The song was written by Sabrina Carpenter, Tia Scola and Ryan McMahon--and debut at #48 on Billboard's Hot 100. On February 1, 2021, the Music Video was released on YouTube, and got 3 Million views on its first day. The song is rumored to be a response to Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License."
